The Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Stephen is the highest state award.

A Budapesti Műszaki és Gazdaságtudományi Egyetem (BME) és a Neumann János Számítógép-tudományi Társaság (NJSZT) közösen megalapította a Neumann János professzori címet, amelyet azon kimagasló, nemzetközi szinten is ismert és elismert tudományos teljesítményt nyújtó hazai vagy külföldi egyetemi tanár kaphat meg, akinek a tudományterülete, tevékenysége kapcsolódik a Neumann János által elért tudományos eredményekhez.

The Paul R. Halmos-Lester R. Ford Awards recognize authors of articles of expository excellence published in The American Mathematical Monthly. The awards were established in 1964 as the Ford awards, named for Lester R. Ford, Sr., a distinguished mathematician, editor of The American Mathematical Monthly, 1942-1946, and President of the Mathematical Association of America, 1947-1948. In 2012, the Board of Governors designated these awards as the Paul R. Halmos-Lester R.

The George Pólya Prize is a prize in mathematics, awarded by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. the prize is named after Hungarian mathematician George Pólya.
