Introduction:

The Erdős Center was established in 2021 in Budapest, Hungary by the Rényi Institute in Budapest. Its main goal is to host summer schools, workshops, visiting professors and postdocs in the framework of Thematic Semesters, and additional Focused Workshops addressing timely challenges in mathematics in July.

The Erdős Center is located in Reáltanoda utca, just accross the Rényi Institute. It started operating in the Spring semester of 2022, and its has hosted events, for example, in the theory of Large Graphs, Network Science, Analytic Number theory, Low Dimensional Topology, Probability and Statistical Physics or Complex Manifolds. Its activities are supported by the Simons Foundation's Targeted Grants for Institutes, as well, during 2025-2027.
