The awarded Oxford professor spent a few months as a young researcher at Rényi, working with Imre Ruzsa, whom he mentions in his response among those from whom he learned his style ("Imre Ruzsa, who writes with exceptional clarity and elegance"). Furthermore, the title of the awarded article includes the name of András Sárközy. He is an emeritus professor at ELTE, but previously worked at the institute for a long time. His son, Gábor Sárközy, still works at the Research Institute.
