Nagy, Dániel (ELTE MI) Introduction to the Blockchain

One of the most exciting developments of the last decade in practical applications of cryptography has been the Blockchain and the decentralized digital currencies enabled by it. First among these was Bitcoin, a rather successful attempt at modeling certain salient economic properties of gold. In this seminar, we shall discuss the design principles behind Bitcoin and further evolution of this technology.
