Kenneth Moore: Spherical Colourings and Progressions In Euclidean Ramsey Theory

In this talk we will look at recent advancements in Euclidean Ramsey Theory. In particular, we will discuss results on colourings that avoid monochromatic 'progressions' -- finite sets of evenly spaced collinear points. We will discuss constructions of geometric graphs, and a well studied method of space colouring known as spherical colouring.
