Jindrich Zapletal: On Euclidean combinatorics and the axiom of choice

JZ: "In the presence of the axiom of choice, combinatorics of
algebraic hypergraphs on
Euclidean spaces is quite well understood due to seminal
contributions by Komjath, Hajnal, Erdos, Schmerl, and others.
I have developed a method for comparing
the complexity of such hypergraphs in the absence of the axiom of choice,
which sharpens our combinatorial intuitions about them.

I will present several new results in this direction."
