Attila Jung: Recent advancement in the Frankl's union-closed sets conjecture

Abstract:
In November 2022, Justin Gilmer introduced a novel information-theoretic method to prove the first constant lower bound on Frankl's  union-closed sets conjecture. Since then, his approach has been refined and extended by several researchers. In this talk, I will provide an overview of Gilmer's method and survey the recent developments that have emerged from it.
