Alfréd Rényi 

Alfréd Rényi founded the Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1950, which would later bear his name. We celebrate this 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Institute with a one day event at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest, Hungary.
