    Please note that due to the high number of participants there will be no common meals organized during the conference, except the Welcome reception (Monday afternoon) and the Conference dinner (Thursday night).

Accommodation

    The participants of the conference are responsible by their own accommodation reservation!!!

    There are plenty of hotels, apartments and hostels available within walking distance from the MTA Rényi Institute of Mathematics. Here one can find a list with the main recommended accommodations, grouped into categories by their prices.

Conference venue and arriving to Budapest

    The conference will be held in the 19th century Redl Palace that hosts the MTA Rényi Institute of Mathematics, in the very center of Budapest.
    Street address is Reáltanoda utca 13-15. The two metro stations closest to the Institute are Astoria and Ferenciek tere.

    Arriving to Liszt Ferenc Budapest Airport

    Airport Schuttle Service: one of the option for coming into town from the airport is to take an Airport Schuttle, which will pick you up along with a few other passengers and take you to the address you indicate. You may buy your ticket right off in the baggage reclaim area or in the arrival hall. It costs about 4900 HUF (17.5 EUR).

    Taxi: the official taxi company at the airport is FőTaxi. Reservations can be made in person at the Főtaxi booths located at the exits at Terminals 2A and 2B. It costs about 7000 HUF (22 EUR) to get to the Institute from the airport.

    Bus: if you don't have a lot of luggage, the cheapest (and sometimes fastest) way is to use the regular bus service. The most convenient is the direct bus 100E to downtown Deák square (5 minute walk from the Institute) which runs in every 20 minutes from and to the airport. The price of an airport ticket is 900 HUF/2.8 EUR. The other option is bus no. 200E runs roughly every 12-15 minutes and for the price of a regular ticket (350 HUF/1.1 EUR) takes you to the end station of underground (Metro) line No 3.

    Arriving by train

    If you arrive at Keleti (Eastern) Railway Station, you can take underground line No. 2 to Astoria and several buses (numbers 7, 173, 178 etc), also to Astoria or Ferenciek tere stop. Those who arriving to the Nyugati (Western) Railway Station in Budapest can continue to the Institute by metro line 3 to Ferenciek tere. If you arrive at the Déli (Southern) Railway Station, you can take underground line No. 2 to Astoria. If you arrive late at night it is better to take a taxi.

Visa requirements
