Dear colleagues,

the Austrian Mathematical Society and the János Bolyai Mathematical Society are pleased to announce the first Joint Austrian-Hungarian Mathematical Conference 2015. We are convinced that this event will foster the traditional Austrian-Hungarian mathematical collaborations and initiate new ones, thereby promoting and strengthening the mathematical ties between both countries.

We are happy that the congress takes place in the attractive town of Györ, and we especially thank the local organizers for their excellent work. We also thank the joint program committee and the organizers of the minisymposia for their input, and of course we are looking forward to attractive plenary talks as well as a wealth of contributed talks.
