Abstract: Fun doesn't often feature as one of the top reasons to study mathematics. This talk will try to convince you that mathematics can indeed be fun. Of course one person's fun and enjoyment can be someone else's boredom and pain. We will look at a selection of topics which the lecturer himself found fun and exciting, ranging from summing series by eating chocolates to crazy paving in your garden.
